New Program Manager and Volunteer Coordinator Training Academy
Aids in the development of a new Program Managers/Volunteer Coordinators “Training Academy.” Will help design the curriculum and instruction.

February 2018 Update
We designed the Program Managers/Volunteer Coordinator Academy as a foundational learning experience, providing new program managers and staff who supervise CASA volunteers with a solid skills and core competencies to yield quality and consistent support to volunteers and aid in establishing a community of practice for CASA staff statewide.
Participants will examined core values essential to achieving our common goal that every abused or neglected child should live in a safe, loving, permanent home where they have the opportunity to thrive. Academy participants left with a firm understanding and framework for each participant to build upon in his/her role as a CASA volunteer supporter and mentor.
Our first ever academy was held on Sept 25-27, 2017 in Gig Harbor, WA new volunteer coordinators and included on added day for program managers to cover additional program management duties and responsibilities. Our next PM Academy will be held in Spring 2018.
