Join us for over 35 sessions and engaging featured plenary sessions specifically tailored for CASA volunteers to provide the best possible advocacy for the children they serve in and out of dependency court.  From report-writing to college readiness for foster youth, our goal is to provide you the best possible training experience over the two days encompassing the conference.

We’re also pleased to announce our second “ICWA Institute” as part of this year’s conference.  The Institute begins on Thursday, Nov 1st with an all day training provide by the National Indian Child Welfare Association and continues with three sessions on Saturday specifically tailored by CASA program staff from around the state.  There’s no additional cost for participating in the institute beyond the normal conference registration fee. and Participants will need to attend both the all-day Thursday session and 3 additional sessions on Friday in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Finally, we’re also using the conference as the opening of our second annual “Shoe Drive for Foster Kids” — a campaign to raise awareness of the number of children involved in our state’s child welfare system.  Our goal is to provide a pair of new shoes for every child in care across the state — and to kick off our campaign, you’ll receive $25 off your conference registration fee if you pledge to bring a pair of NEW shoes to the conference.

Designed for new and experienced CASAs alike, there is no other opportunity like the annual WaCASA statewide conference.  Please join us — we hope to see you there!
